Part of me thinks 'yeah this might be ok' but part of me just thinks why? ..does a classic realy need to be remade 'reimagined' whatever, but then Christopher Nolans Batman blew Burtons out of the water, the remake/reworking of one of my all time fave films 'Dawn of the Dead was pretty good. I know a lot of folks like it but I thought Peter Jacksons King Kong was dull overlong and nothing more that PJ's vanity project

for every 'The Fly' theres a 'Wicker Man' or 'War of the Worlds' *shudder*

Im curious as to Rob Zombies take on Halloween though

Hmmmm maybe,but like you say many other films have been remade successfully i also thought they did a good job with the Texas chainsaw massacre and The hills have eyes :grin:

Very true, although I never liked the original 'Texas Chainsaw' its was one of those films you were told about at school that someones older brother has on a dusty betamax ..like some kind of mystical horror film people used to tell you about the 'killins' ....then you say it and thought is that it? its crap!

I thought the remake was good though ..Ive not sen the original 'Hills have eyes' for years either but again enjoyed the remake

I really don't know what to expect from rob zombies Halloween as i couldn't stand his house of a 1000 corpses but loved his Devils Rejects so i will look forward to watching his halloween but with caution!
