Anybody watch it? A nice mix of winners, i'm glad to see Casino Royale win one, and Pirates of the Caribbean. I think the leading actor/actress awards were spot on. Here's a list of the winners.

Actor in a Supporting Role: Alan Arkin - Little Miss Sunshine

Animated Feature: Happy Feet
Visual Effects: Pirates of the Caribbeanead Mans Chest
Actress in a Supporting Role: Jennifer Hudson - Dreamgirls
Adapted Screenplay: The Last King of Scotland

Short Animation: Guy 101

I want to know how Meryl Streep got nominated for Best Actress when it was obviously IMO a supporting role.

Jonathan got very few laughs from the mostly American audience. Ricky Gervais was popular though.

I think he's a talented bloke alright (Extras is really good) but I think (and the wife) think he as himself is a complete and utter cock. If he comes on the telly it's a rush to the switcher to turn over.

Re: BAFTAS 9pm tonight

I hear that a lot, people thinking he is arrogant and cocky. I think it's all an act and I for one find him very amusing. If you happend to catch Ricky Gervais meets...Garry Shandling you see an American comedian doing exactly the same thing. It was quite uncomfortable to watch.
