Dawn of the Dead is one of my all time fave films, I enjoyed the remake as it managed to stay true to the origional but add enough to make it new. This on the other hand, (going by the trailer at least) is nothing like Day of the Dead ..unless the trailer just didnt show the underground bunker and the experiments, Bub etc ..maybe the underground stuff from the origional is now relocated to a military base somewhere.. ..I may be proved wrong but that teailer didnt give me the wow factor

I agree zombies should be slow but 28 Days and the Dawn remake were both really good films in their own right. And there's something really disturbing when they can run faster than you (admittedly the slow ones could shuffle along and catch me :grin:)

The original Dawn was so much better than Day, this is why I felt they could do such a similar story, just amped up. I am pretty sure if they just done Day scene for scene people wouldn't be happy.
As far as I can see the story is still the same, only as Lionel Richtea says it seems to be a base instead of a bunker which isnt gonna bother me too much.
I do hope they keep the Bub story, or something along those lines.

Technically the creatures in 28 Days Later weren't zombies. Zombies are reincarnated corpses, the people in 28 Days Later never died, they just turned into crazy pissed off cannibals.
