Movie of the Year 2006

Which is your favourite movie of 2006? Cast your vote and i'll announce the winner early January.

My vote goes to....

Children of Men

By far the best film i've seen this year and for that matter for many years.

I've not seen many of the new ones at the cinema, don't particularly want to waste £7.50 odd to watch it on the big screen.

One I did see and loved is Borat. That's got to be my fav of this year.

Tough One

Probably between The New World, Casino Royale and The Proposition for me.

However, I vote for Angel-A.

see so many films that I forget what I've seen and when they were released lol...

I think it's a choice between The Departed and Casino Royale for me..probably 007...

One way around this is to get one of the free orange sim cards and use the Orange Wednesdays offer. Providing you've got a friend

Departed for me

The unlimited card is a wonderful thing!

Clerks II or The Devil Wears Prada for me, both very funny.

Re: Movie of the Year 2006

Our cinema (Tamworth Odeon) is pure rubbish - no monthly membership cards and the manager is an arse - no Pans Labyrynth or The Prestige, they removed the Directors Chair showings until enough people complained to get it reinstated. Instead they favour only blockbusters or the tat that chavs like to watch or kids films.

Try checking on a forum like hotukdeals for free orange sim card if nothing's posted on here. I just swap sims when I want my to go to the flicks

Our Odeon's pants too; been hoping for Pan's Labrynth but never in a million years. So we get Bond on 3/4 of the screens. Very frustrating
