Johnny Depp to play Sweeney Todd
It's put down to different opinions and taste. There was no need for Planet of the Apes Remake.
I always had this dream that Arnie would be in the same role as Charlton Heston was but of course that wasn't to be and it annoyed me, but in my opinion if you are going to remake a film, it has to be better than the original and this was no where near it so I just thought what was the point retelling an old story when the original is still not out of date.
Sleepy Hollow was good, but Tim Burton is typical creating these dark and mysterious sets. I just wish he try and direct a normal film, its like he has to create the over the top sets to excuse the poor direction.
Ed Wood was perfect as was Edward Scissorhands and both those films starred Johnny Depp so it makes you think what would become of Tim Burton if Depp didn't exist, he relies on him to much.
Burton is a very good storyteller but his direction is very poor which is why he hasn't made a decent film since Ed Wood.
Like I said, just my opinion, nothing else. Don't wanna piss on anyones chips
