For my 3rd film tonight I chose 'Ghost in the Shell 2: Innocence'.

What can I say, stunning visuals and cinematography, wonderful dts-es soundtrack. A worthy sequel to one of my fave anime's.

I've had a very good day at Pove's home cinema today 8)

V for Vendetta - absolute class!

Loved everything about it. Hugo Weaving is such a sexy man and Stephen Rea was sublime as the policeman.

Better than I ever expected!

I missed this at the pictures - been waiting for it on DVD.

I'm really looking forward to seeing it.

I went for the R3 (HK) 2 discer for it's dts-es (matrix) soundtrack. It's 2 amaray cases in a strong cardboard case. Hard to go wrong with this one, unless you want an English dubbed soundtrack ...but you don't strike me as this type of person

Jarhead 8)

I really enjoyed this, great performance from Gyllenhaal and Sarsgaard, very funny but at the same time thought provoking. Superb Cinematography in all of the desert scenes too. Loved the scene which captured the frustration of being there but not getting to be the sniper.

I wish I had read the book now.

Overall I enjoyed it more than I disliked it and it was great to see on the big screen. The movie for me was definately worth seeing if only getting to see what everything looked like in the book, Silas and Teabing especially were just as I had visualised in my head when reading the book.

Hubbie hadn't read the book so it was a whole new experience for him, I found myself just sitting there waiting for the next scene as I knew what was coming next and that is my only minor downer, it dragged a bit in places.
The exact ditto!

36 Quai Des Orfèvres (aka Cops with big noses  )

Well I'd never heard of this film until Blunty mentioned it and it was Magnifique!

Brilliant acting, great script and it managed to emotionally charge me more than any film I've seen this year. My advice is to get hold of it and watch it.

Blunty, this is definitely a queue jumper
