Received this for Mothers Day, and really enjoyed it too.

The Curse of the Were-Rabbit

Another cracking film from Wallace and Gromit. Perfect sunday afternoon fair. One of the few films my wife and I both enjoyed

Chaning lanes - Pretty good, ending could be better though.

Contamination

Started of well in an italian b-movie gore fest kinda way, which is good .

It then lost it's way a liitle and the less said about the ending the better. very enjoyable film all the same.

I also watched North by Northwest for the first time!

For some reason I've kept missing the beginning of this film my whole life. I don't like watch a film if I've missed the beginning. Great film though, Cary Grant is his usual self but I can't watch James Mason anymore without thinking of Eddie Izzard!

UltraViolet.

Absolute tosh. I normally love this type of film, but this one for me was poor.

One of the problems was a lack of "believeability" (is that a word?) - even the most extreme sci-fi movies need to have a sense of reality about them, that what is happening is explainable (even the matrix can be explained - sort of).

But in this movie, people were getting hacked to bits with swords and blades and they just fell over without any blood or anything.

Very disappointing.

Personally I blame Tarantino for this. He set pretty silly standards for how many hectoliters of blood a human can dish out. I'm gonna buy the movie ("ultraviolet") and spend hours with it and wearing down my pause button. (I'm a sucker for Jovovich).

Yes, she is a bit of alright I have to say. But I preferred her in Resident Evil......

Yeah but he only 'borrowed' the blood thing from someone else, so it's really not tarantino's fault...

Over the weekend we watched Narnia - bit slow paced and predictable but not a bad opening. Needs to up it a bit to take on Potter.

I watched Hostle on my PSP. Not bad - better than I thought it was going to be and pretty brutal at times.
