Watched Cloverfield last night on blu-ray.
I really enjoyed it! Although the camera work made me feel a bit queasy at times.
I was difinately in the "love it" camp.
8.5 out of 0

Watched this the other night too. Excellent monster flick.
(8.5 out of 0 isn't that great a score considering you liked it Wilko )

WANTED: Quite enjoyable completly unrealistic but good action and a good laugh aj looked hot!! feelt a bit matrixy in places !! this years shoot em up! 7.5/10
KUNG FU PANDA: Actually better than I thought it would be, made me laugh quite a bit better than shreck I thought. 7/10
PRICELESS: loved this film realy cute and both the lead actor and Audrey Tautou were great! def catch this if you can 9/10
HAPPENING: This was just plain damn weird, if you like the directors other films like Signs, Village you will prob like this. To be fair though not his best work! still worth watching if your a fan fans 7.5 non fans 6 !
HULK: awsum special effects and fight scenes much much better than the one a few years back the hulk looks great and not like a cartoon as it looked in the other effort a few years ago.

I definitely want to see the top 4 - but I have no desire to see the hulk. I might go to the cinema on Friday to see Wanted or Kung Fu Panda.

Finally got round to watching I am Legend, thought it was pretty good, not as bad as everyone has been making it out to be. Looking forward to watching the alternative ending to see which i prefer. I've not read the book so no idea of what the film should be about.
Alvin and the chipmunks great kids film. been in the player since we had it and must have watched it 3 or 4 times now in the space of a week.
Wall-e went to a preview viewing at my local cinema thanks to a freebie. excellent typically pixar film. loved every moment of it. frightening how good the animation is becoming. cant wait till it comes out on DVD, hopefully in a Wall-e shaped box lol

Yeah, I'd actually go as far as saying its in my top 20 movies of all time.
I guess it just depends on what types of movie you like, and this just happens to be in my sort of genre. And it helps that 28 days / 28 weeks later are also in my top 20.

Recently watched two films.
The Spiderwick Chronicles
A really really good "horror for kids" film. For adults it's a good fantasy story even though the goblins are horrible.
9/10
The Happening
Oh dear. Where has it all gone wrong Mr Shyamalan. A half decent idea executed with poor dialogue, poor acting and shoddy pacing. If it hadn't been for Mark Wahlberg being it we'd have turned it off after 20 minutes it was that bad. Worst film I've seen for a while.
1/10
