Hehe, I don't know. Sounds like an accurate description of about 90-95% of all Hollywood franchise/sequels

Mongol:- Whatched this last night, this was a pretty good film beautiful cinematography looked realy nice kind of crouching tiger meets braveheart ish!! based on historical facts in 13th century mongolia beautifully shot film def best seen in cinema on big screen.

Indy 4:- What can I say!! Great film lots of fun, adventure, and action I thought it still kept the magic of others.

Watched Indy 4 yesterday. There was a bit at the end that I wasn't too sure about, which didn't seem to fit with the Indy films, but overall I thought it was great and really slotted in well with the other 3 movies. Quite funny as well, Harrison Ford still swings a good whip at 65!

Just got back from watching Indy IV and have to say a bit disappointed in it. The bit at the end WTF!!!! kinda spoiled the film, would give it a 7/10

Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull -
What the hell... i have to agree with everyone else and say it was brill up until the ending and it turns very un-Indy. Not bad as such, just a bit of a cop out compared with ye olde Indy films Still, would give it a 7/10

Not sure if i've posted these already, but in the last week or so watched -

Transformers - At last got round to it! Enjoyed this a lot more than expected actually. Watched on HD disc and LOVED the graphics. Humour in the right places, fighting and action in the other places I just want my own personal Optimus Prime and/or Bumblebee now 8/10
Also the start of my new found love of Shia LeBoeuf, a great little actor i don't recall seeing in much else before

Disturbia - Recommended by a woman i work with who usually suggests movies i'd never bother with and turns out to be a great suggestion. Once again, totally right with this one. Very good little film that keeps you guessing and very much liked the story Stage 2 of this weeks Shia-fest 8/10

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles/TMNT - Hmm.. not overly fussed with this. Fun graphics but it's just not the same as being 6 again and watching the cartoons on TV. When you've known them as the Teenage Mutant HERO Turtles it's just difficult to get over the fact A bit too kiddie for me (maybe if i was still 6 i would have enjoyed it as much) No Shia to be found in this one either hehe 5/10

Across the Universe

Really good musical set in the 60's using only Beatles songs to tell the story. Well scripted and acted.

9/10

REC

Another decent Spanish horror filmed "Cloverfield syle" - bit formulaic at times but quite intense too.

8/10

Also finished watching Season 1 of Dexter which seemed to rush to the conclusion.

8/10

Got round to watching Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull yesterday.

Indy's still got it alright, me and the hubbie both really enjoyed it. I have to agree with the others though the last scene was very un-indy but apart from that, a big .

8/10
Definatley one for the collection.

Jumper - Not a particularly deep film, left it a bit too open for me really. Characters that are just kinda forgotten about. But enjoyed it non the less. Some good action seens and good effects 7/10

Saw Sex and the City last week, absolutely loved it, 9 out of 10. Even my boyfriend liked it, his verdict 8 out of 10. Some real laugh out loud moments, shed a few tears and the only film I have ever been to where the audience were completely interactive with the storyline (there’s a scene in there between Miranda and Steve where the whole audience gasped in unison lol).

Finally got round to seeing Indy.

I agree with what everyone has said about the crap ending. What the hell?

But overall, still pretty good - I'd give it 7.5 / 10
