Was probably the Telesync version - it's not bad quality for one of those but I'll go to pics to see it.

i would if it was affordable and i had a cinema close by.

at least in a few weeks ill get back to durham, they put on films at the gala theatre, will go and see the new Indy movie there, for £4.50 and ill probably go once a fortnight if a decent film comes out.

living in Nottingham and not knowing how to get anywhere is so frustrating, im out of my comfort zone, and have been for 11 months.

infact id go and see this film at the gala and pay gladly, but they are only showing it until the 15th, 3 days before i go back :(

Stinger - we know you have lots of problems at present but here is not the place to be discussing it and mentioning it all the time.

You need to get some advice - go to Citizens Advice Bureau.

Doomsday: Saw this on Fri thought it was an awsume action film definatly worth seeing. Escape from New York meets 28 Days later with a bit of Mad Max thrown in from the director of Dog Soldiers. 10

Can't wait for Cloverfield on blu ray whitch I saw advertised the other day!!

I'm just coming to the end of a 2 week free trial with MyMovieStream and so I've been able to watch a bunch of films I missed previously. So, in no particular order:

Ghost Rider (Extended Edition): If they had cast someone else in the role of Johnny Blaze, this could have been a pretty good film. As it is, Nicholas Cage was totally miscast so it was pretty poor. The blazing bike sequences were pretty good though so I'd give it a generous 5/10

Underworld Evolution: same old, same old. A film saved only by the constant appearance on screen of Kate Beckinsale in a skin-tight rubber jump suit (and at times without ). Again 5/10

Blade Trinity: The only saving grace this pile of junk had was that it was really short. 2/10

Transformers: Definitely one of the better blockbusters in recent years. Well worth watching again. The bits of humour throughout the story really helped with the entertainment level as it could have gone the really deep and meaningful route. 8/10

Flight of the Phoenix (Remake): Why did they even bother ? The original is high on my list of all-time favourite films. As a stand alone movie I would probably have given it 4-5/10 but as a poor remake I can only hand it 2/10

300: Probably best watched on a big screen at the cinema. I'm afraid I found this pretty much a nothing movie. Visually very effective but ultimately not very rewarding. I much prefer the more traditional version from back in the 50s or 60s 'Three Hundred Spartans'. So just 5/10 here.

The Brothers Grimm: Typical Terry Gilliam fare. I found it really quite good once it got started. Weird....but good Not one for the kids though. 7/10

Sahara: Good fun afternoon matinee sort of film. Not great, but reasonably entertaining throughout. I get the feeling they hoped this would become a multi-film franchise...but it wasn't that good. 6/10

I'm not going to be continuing my account with MyMovieStream. In my first three sets of three films, I only got one of my top 20 choices and had to scrabble around to pick out films I would want to pay rental fees for.

Yeah, but all Clive Cussler novels are exactly the same - they follow the same plot lines, with minor changes to the characters and locations. Not the best recipe for Hollywood success.........
