Havent posted here in a while as mad busy with work but made time to see 'Once' the other night and has to be one of the most simple, sweetest films that I've seen in a long time, really really good with some very touching yet totally off the wall moments...I liked it so much I even went out and got the soundtrack - something I havent done since I was 13!! (Dirty Dancing being the last )

Highly reccommended for something a bit offbeat and to really uplift you.

Apart from that, managed about 15 mins and no more of Sweeney Todd the less said about that the better, very dissapointing from what it appeared to me all those months ago.

I watched Iron Man yesterday and have to agree with all the comments thus far. Sooo much better than I thought it was going to be, and fewer 'unexplainable' moments than most comic book/action hero movies. Really enjoyable, and well put together. It had the potential of being absolutely rubbish, which I kind of thought it would be, but definitely the best big blockbuster this year so far....... until Indy of course.

St. Trinians - A couple of laughs, fairly predictable and nothing special but not unwatchably bad. Bog standard film with a couple of Pride and Prejudice/Mr Darcy gags thrown in for good measure. Worth it to see yet another film with Colin Firth in a wet shirt :) 6/10

As others have said it's fantastic. Special FX are awesome and Robert Downey Jnr does an excellent job.

Iron Man - Thought it was trying to cram too much story in in parts but overall was very impressed. Robert Downey Jnr was great, few good laughs :) Some very cool actions scenes too 8/10

American Gangster

Great performances from Denzil and Rus, well scripted and acted thoughout. Would like to have seen a bit more of the bad side of Frank in action.

The Counterfeiters

A really well made film about how the Nazis forced talented Jews in concentration camps to counterfeit passports etc but mainly the Pound and Dollar in order to flood the UK and US with fake money and ruin their economy during WWII.

just saw Iron Man last night, was ok quality picture, id give the film 9/10 but the version i saw cut off before credits, so ive not seen the final scene, and all the youtube links are down.

just after he says at the end ''I Am Iron Man'' - is that the last word? as it cut off right after it.
