Was anybody sick?

The Bucket List

A really good quite powerful (in a heartfelt way) film with superb performances from Morgan Freeman and Jack Nicholson as two blokes who decide to have some fun before they kick the bucket.

9/10

Would I buy it or rent it?
Tricky as it probably only warrants one or maybe two watches even though it's really good. Rent it.

Just got back from seeing Cloverfield - this absolutely blew me away - I cannot recommend it highly enough. Super jaw dropping, edge of the seat, heart racing stuff.

Seen recently

In The Valley Of Elah - it was ok, slow in parts, just didn't seem to get going 5/10

Sweeney Todd - I knew it was a musical, which really ain't my thing, but was ok, songs sucked a bit but the gore compensated lol 7/10

Cloverfield - Amazing movie, really well done, won't say to much but a must see film 9.5/10

Cloverfield, from the sounds of it i'm the only person who was a little disappointed. I think the hype for it has been so big, that it didn't quite reach my expectations. Without any knowledge of it, I would have agreed with many of the responses about it, and it was very fresh and original. Saying that, I was constantly looking up from the 3rd row, because everywhere was full, and the pain in my neck, might have something to do with my overall view of the film.

Saw Sweeney Todd on Sunday night (took Moo out for his Birthday).

I enjoyed it, admittedly the songs are a bit samey... but I liked it.

9/10

Saw Cloverfield and agree with what others have already said, 9/10.

Also saw Jumper which was pretty average. No real background story or reason why they were chasing the Jumpers, some good special effects but not enough to save this film. 6-7/10.

Juno – after all the hype I was expecting to watch something amazing, I didn’t. Found it boring, tedious and it dragged on in parts. A few laughs here and there but all in all I didn’t like it. 5-6/10.
