That's great and reassuring news to hear the Coens are back on track although I didn't think intolerable cruelty was all that bad as long as you didn't associate it with the Coen Bros .
I enjoyed watching 'O Brother Where art thou?' again over Chrimble ...Clooney's finest hour.
A bit disappointed. I've seen 2 other Strummer docs and westway to the world, and this didn't bring a lot of different material to the table.
He was a legend in his time, they were the greatest british band ever and his memory lives on.
Still it was good seeing celebrity talking heads singing his praise...scorsese, kiedis/flea, cusack...even that loser frontman from u2! lol
Watched this a couple of days ago, and have to agree, I thought it was a wonderful little film, although the ending seemed to not end how I was expecting (thought Mahoney would play her first), but I think one I shall be picking up on DVD.
Saw this at the pics today, wasnt bad, although lost my 5 years old attention after half an hour, Natalie Portman was very good but my god, Dustin Hoffman is exceptionally irritating in it. The setting in the shop etc is excellent, great sets and visuals etc.
One thing that niggled at me though is why they didnt come with some sort of explanation however implausible for Mr Magorium and his magic but like for example Lost, thats the type of thing that would bug me anyway, I need to know!!!!

Did you watch Return to House on Haunted Hill on HD DVD by any chance as I heard one of the exclusive special features was you could chose how the film ended and how poeple died. First one was ok and also it has Cerina Vincent from cabin fever in it who I met at the NEC, Birmingham and is totally gorgeous. so I might check it out.

no it was on dvd,but its worth a watch maybe a rent but save your money unless you can find it cheap
Watched Knocked up.
Was an ok film, nothing special really. 1 or 2 bits made me laugh and a couple of cute moments.
Not much for the silly weed smoking teeny kinda films like American pie films generally, however saying that, part of the film set in Las Vegas with Paul Rudd and the lead guy (who's name escapes me) did really tickle me. Paul Rudd saved this film for me.
Not the worst film ever, if you like American Pie type stuff and don't want to concentrate too hard it's ideal :)
It's Seth Rogen, littlesheepy. I really liked Knocked Up, although, The 40 Year Old Virgin was a lot better. I think it's great easy watching, that like you said, you do have to think too much about, but I like that sort of film.
