Re: Just watched film thread

watched Children of Men last night (very inspiring film to watch on the birthday of your 1 year old as was the case last night!! ) A little in mixed minds about this, overall enjoyed it alot but am not a fan and great performances but.... (and without giving a massive spoiler) am not a fan of such abrupt endings and seemed like all the loose ties were sewn up in about 2 mins flat which kinda killed it a bit for me....typical female that way!!

Wrong Turn

Only really bought this as Faith from Buffy was in it but it turned out to be a pretty decent horror flick. Loads of gore and Inbred mountain men......perfect way to relax after work.

The Prestige. Very different from what I initially thought it would be like, seemed a little bit slow to start, but once it started to get going I enjoyed it. There was something about Hugh Jackman which I didn't like, I think his accent might have had a little to do with it, Christian Bale was excellent though, although I found myself thinking of Danny Dyer. I was just a little bit disappointed in the ending, was hoping for some 'real magic' none-the-less, was definitely worth a watch.

I personally think it would benefit from a second viewing, Christian Bale has definitely caught my eye. Now i'm off to watch Batman Begins. ;)

I went through a Christian Bale phase a while back, bought Equilibrium, American Psycho, and The New World.
