Evil Aliens

I don't think movies come much more low budget than this but it was a lot of fun. Worth watching for the rendition of 'I've got a brand new combine harvester' alone. ...and Emily Booth of course!

I can't believe this film has been released as a steelbook though, must've cost more than the film.

Over the Hedge

Animation was great and all but I really didn't get into it...any film which has avril lavigne as one of it's voice cast must be struggling. Steve Carell was good (as always) and Shatner of course.
Just a bit meaningless.

Half Nelson

Goddamn, if Ryan Gosling's performance isn't the best in the last year i'm a monkeys uncle.
He was absolutely unbelievable...i'd never seen the guy before this flick (not as good as his performance unfortunately). It was a good film, not a classic but such an unflinching real performance is always a pleasure to watch.

Kontroll

Absolutely brilliant. I liked everything about ths movie and it had a few moments where I laughed out loud. An excellent black comedy well acted and well put together.

OUTLAW.

Hmmm. Tough one, this. I "sort of" enjoyed it - however, it was SO riddled with flaws that it could never be called a masterpiece.

The general plot was poor, the acting was poor, the characters were poor, execution was poor.

But still........I did "sort of" enjoy it. Would I recommend that you spend good money to go to the cinema to see it? Absolutely NOT!
