Re: Just watched film thread

Hot Fuzz - If you're expecting a repeat of Shaun of the Dead or anything remotely like it, i think you're going to be highly disappointed. However, i'd heard this was the case beforehand so went in to see the film for what it was. I did really enjoy this movie, some really entertaining bits, however for me i think they tried to cram a bit too much into the film and towards the end it turns into a bit of an over the top action film, where it had been quite clever/funny up until then. It's worth seeing once for a laugh but not something i think i'd buy or watch again. My friends only comment was 'it was far too loud, i have a headache' maybe that's all you need to know

Ghost Rider

Went to see this not expecting much but it was really cool, especially the parts with Ghost Rider and the bike (they are amazing looking).

I have to say the weak storylines and villians let the special effects down but overall good mindless fun plus Im a sucker for comic book films.

If you go to see this expecting too much you will be disappointed.

Watched Spy Game last night

Got this ages ago from dvd soon for £2.50 and it was always at the bottom of the 'to watch' pile but it turned out to be a really excellent movie, Intelligent storyline and Mr Redford was on top form. Just loving all these DTS movies now.
