The only thing is, it's an arse-numbingly long film. Including all of the adverts that they force you to sit through, it was just over 3 hours. That's a long time for a 6 year old to sit still.

But it couldn't have been much shorter - because there is just so much to cram in.

I was excited when I heard who was in it and who was making it but I enjoyed it more than I though anyway...

It's generally pretty faithful (apart from the renard/ra's same person thing) but it didn't matter...it was a great movie.

Watched The Stepford Wives remake last night, entertaining but the original could have done without this remake.

Finally got round to watching Saw tonight

Couldn't believe the ending, didn't see that coming at all

I thought war of the worlds was entertaining but not mind blowing, having said that i've ordered the r3 one anyway.

It's pretty linear in the way they move from places to the next but I think tom cruise was a bad choice. But if they'd dropped him they probably would've made $100 million or more less.

I watched the Stepford wives about a week ago (had gotten it free with HMV order for Desperate Housewives!) and was not very impressed considering the actors that were starring in it! Still at least it wasnt over long and sure I can find someone to give the DVD to for a Christmas present
