Ohhh Zoot, it was soo predictable, and the end was quite rubbish in the room. About 70% of the film was moderately entertaining, but SJP just got on my nerves! :x

Superman Returns....more enjoyable for me than any of the previous films, which, personally I really don't like. Found it really boring to start, then it got exciting with the whole plane thing, then boring for quite some time again, but it slowly picked up the pace and became interesting again. I found all the acting pretty good, even Kate Bosworth, who I generally don't like and definitely couldn't see as Lois Lane was very good. You definitely need to see the previous films though, or have a bit of prior knowledge of Superman otherwise you'll get a bit confused. I went to see it with friends who had seen some of the TV series, but not the films, and they were a bit confused in parts, and bored for the most part, we were all pretty excited though when the music kicked in throughout the film, mainly because we knew something interesting was going to happen. Worth watch, although probably a little too long.
Anyone notice that Brandon Routh sounds a lot like Tom Cruise? :?

I didn't say it was bad, I just didn't like it; if you could manage to strap me down and force me to watch it again, I could probably appreciate it more.

Also I just read on imdb that in the SE just released they have included the original ending with Andie ending up with Duckie. :? Does anyone have the SE?

MG it hasn't been released yet. You can get it on pre-order at Axelmusic here. :)

I don't really like SJP but I thought she did well in this film. It's an easy to watch film, turn your brain off and enjoy the crap I agree with you on the ending though.
Currently half way through She's the Man which is suprisingly, not half bad.

Hostel 6.5/10
First 40 minutes sucked (Eurotrip anyone?) - after that it was okay.
And if any American director is reading this forum:
