COME AND INTRODUCE YOURSELF

Here we go - I am Gary 37 living in a small village in Warwickshire.

Enjoy Kites, Guinness and Taking the Dog to the pub. We are owned by
a rescue Dogue De Bordeaux (same breed that was in Turner & Hooch).

Started out by spending far too much on a dvd player, then even more
on a processor, then had to spend a fortune on a power amp before I
spent silly money on some speakers.

Did not watch films for years, so am now catching up on things.

First film I bought on DVD was Amadeus last film bought was A Prayer
For The Dying.

COME AND INTRODUCE YOURSELF

Hi, My name is Helen , Im nearly 32 (birthday - 9th November). I have two girls (5 and 20 months) and Im married to Neil aka "silly moo" who sometimes post items/replies on here, more often then not under Games/Computer releated subjects as thats his "bag".

For my sins I follow the "Blades" - hence my name "red is best", I noticed we also have a gooner on here - the lady who cant remember her age!!!

I like most types of films, but cant abide Star Trek, X Files - boring..... yet my hubby loves this stuff.. I once went to a Star Trek day at the flicks with my hubby, and sat through Star Trek 1 to Star Trek Generations (number 6/7 not sure which..) - the things we do for love....

I dont work, I try to make a bit of money selling stuff on Ebay, which is great fun and also means I can spoil the girls.

Just one last thing before I go, and that is I think its brill how everyone on here helps eachother - no matter what the problem/query/advice needed - someone always willing to help..

Keep up the good work and Kind Regards to all - especially the Gooner!!.

[quote="red is best"] I noticed we also have a gooner on here - the lady who cant remember her age!!!

Most days it's actually about 3 or 4 years old....

Is your avatar of one of your small people Helen? If so, they're very sweet!

COME AND INTRODUCE YOURSELF

suppose I should write something...

I am married to Rest in Bed - you see what I did there - a spoonerism (or is it a malapropism, I always get them two confused :? ) and have two lovely little girls who can trash a house faster than a hurricane.
There is a picture of one of them on Best in Red's avatar.

For a living I run several large web sites and manage two teams of web developers. Several times a year, I give presentations to academic institutions about their web site management and development, which scares the hell out of me everytime, but gives me a buzz at the same time

I have quite a large (but never enough) collection of cd's and dvd's and am working my way through collecting box sets to my favourite tv programmes (see other forums for a list).

If anyone has any techie/web questions, feel free to ask me and I will do my best to provide an answer.
