I just realised in all the time I've been here I never introduced myself

Hello all,

I am a dvdholic. I have far too many dvds and stopped counting once it got over 1000 and that was back in '05. Nowadays the house has dvds everywhere. You open the cupboard to get some Weetabix you might find a Smallville boxset in its place. I need a bigger house so I can buy more dvds to fill it up in. ;)

3 things you didn't know about zootie

1. I am a fully qualified mechanic/panel beater
2. I once worked as a sex chatline operator
3. I was expelled from school

Born and bred cockney, I currently work in the legal profession and am also in my final year of my postgrad degree so by the end of this year hopefully I will be able to add Dr in front of my name

I love: the Xbox 360, 24/Jack Bauer, cars, my kittens, Haagen Daz Pralines & Cream, the sound of dvds coming through the letterbox, my boyfriend and this site I'm 25 soon to be 26 nooo currently living with my OH, no kids yet but living with us are our 2 kitties Bauer and Chief Inspector Chow Chow (aka Acevada) named after the bloke in the Shield because that kitten can be a bit of an a-hole sometimes

Many thanks to all the fabulous members who have saved me a fortune over the years with those avid bargains.

I'm a Network Manager in a secondary school, and much to many a childs amusement, I'm 6' 8" (with a brother even taller!).

I used to be a nightclub manager in Epping, born and bred in Romford, but now in rural Hertfordshire, and love the village life!

I have a DVD collection in excess of 400, including every Disney film that has been released so far (and most bought before the birth of my daughter, second child on the way supposedly in 4 days!)

Love Darts, and NFL mainly, but do watch UK footy soemtimes, getting more and more into it the more I watch!

Collect and dealt in comics most of my life!

I've just noticed i never introduced myself either!!
Well i'm Lisa, I'm 22 and from Newcastle-under-Lyme in Staffordshire and work as a Library assistant
I of course love DVDs/TV/cinema (pointless me being here if i didn't!) and when i'm not watching something i'm generally reading/sleeping/eating/on t'internet :)
One small fact people find interesting/strange/funny (delete as appropriate) about me is that i own a dog that is crossed between a labrador and a sausage dog

Thought i'd introduce myself here,i didn't do it when i first joined so i'd like to do it now :grin:

I'm Paul and i'm 35 and live in Liverpool,i'm a carer for my mum after she had a stroke.
I love looking after her as she has always looked after us so well,so now it's payback time,i get lots of help from my brothers and sisters,but i'm the only one living at home,dad is still around but they're divorced,they get on better now!

I'm a telly addict and so is mum now,as we spend a lot of time at home,mum has discovered all the great programmes on tv,she never watched anything much before as she was always busy,i've introduced her to Buffy,Angel,X-Files,Charmed,Smallville and lots more and she loves them all :grin:
I've got her into Prison Break,Supernatural,CSI,Grey's Anatomy and others too.

I love gardening and taking the dog for a walk and i'm an avid reader,horror novels and crime are my favourites,James Patterson and Simon Clark are amongst my favourite authors,my fave music is 80s as that was my most memorable era.

I love going on the internet looking for more bargain dvds for myself and mum to watch,this forum is always my first visit when i go online :grin:

It's really nice having you on the forum P, one of the nicest people I have encountered on the internet. I swear me and you have Kindred spirits (or something like that)...we love all same the TV shows, Superman and now I see you love 80's music which is also my favourite era for music too.
