Alien V Predator 2 : Problem disc
Never saw this in the cinema, but I couldn't work out what was going on half the time as it was like sitting through darkness the entire time when watching the Blu Ray. In the trailer on the disc, you can clearly see what is happening in low lit scenes, but the main feature itself is so dark, I nearly turned off. Tried it on 3 different players and three different LCD tv's. Turning up the contrast did nothing.
So be warned if you were thinking of renting/purchasing this on Blu Ray.
Anyone have the regular DVD edition who can confirm the same?
Just noticed folks on the discussion board at IMDB have commented on this too, so can't be a faulty disc....

Thanks for the heads up - although by all accounts, you haven't really missed much even if the entire movie was completely black. I've heard its a shockingly bad movie.

No, I don't think it was - it was on at the cinema, just not for very long.
And it was absolute tosh. With a capital T.

Yeah, thats the "uncut" version that is on the blu-ray and DVD - "includes footage never before seen in cinema".

The creature effects on the disc trailer looked quite good, but you literally couldn't see which was the Alien and which was the predator in the feature itself - got to be something wrong there!
