Yea its mainly audio - if you dont have a hdmi option on your amp like me then you can get true HD via its analogue connections - whereas you cant on the ep30.

I bought one of these!

For the price (and quality of hardware it seems) it is a complete bargain...I paid £330 for my first dvd player so £180-odd with 7 films for hd-dvd is pretty sweet.
Only got the 2 free films and the thing so far...looking forward to blade runner and indy if it comes later this year...

and I may go for a blu-ray player later in the year...there are the pixar movies, die hards etc to have on blu-ray
