I noticed someone mentioned about a Steelbook thread. Thought I would make one, and see how it goes. Saves several different threads about various steelbooks available.

Also, just noticed there's a Basic Instinct steelbook avaliable at the Wow, one for all the gentlemen out there.

best website ive found so far for steelbooks is http://www.steelbooks.de/
only problem is when you click an image you get nothing the new page never load completly dont know why ?

if anyone figures out how to get the pages to work please let me know.

Now I actually 'know' what a steelbook is, in my innocence thought they were like the T2 tin or what Ezy dvd sell, so theres actually steel tins and steelbooks, I assume steelbooks would be more unusual/rarer - must keep an eye for them!

Steelbooks are actually becoming a more popular form of packaging for a dvd to be released with now. In Germany, Spain and Holland they have loads of dvd's in steelbooks.


These are the only steelbooks I own but I want more:

Aviator (R2 France), Flash Gordan (R2 UK), The Boondock Saints (R1 USA), Tomb Raider Collection (R2 Italy), Total Recall (R2 UK)
