If you can't find your model of DVD Player on at least one of these sites, then chances are it can't be made multi-region without a special chip being placed in it - given the low prices of easily-modifiable or pre-modified DVD players today, it's quite possible that it could be more economical to buy a new player, rather than have an existing one chipped (unless it's a really expensive model). Panasonic and Toshiba (and most of the big electronics firms) players in particular are notoriously difficult or impossible to make region-free without a chip.
