Hello!

I want to buy Californication season 1 (r1), however I cant find any information about subtitles. Ebay sellers tell me that there is nothing written about subtitles on the cover, but that it's closed captioned.

Anyone who has this relase and has watched it and can tell me if it has any kind of english subtitles?

I'm not sure, that's why I'm asking. A confirmation from anyone who has watched this release is great.

I don't have it, but DVD Verdict says quite clearly that there are no subtitles.

As I understand it, while Closed Captioning is a form of subtitles, it requires a special decoder I think.

Sorry it's a late reply, but just to definitely confirm for you, it hasn't got subtitles. I watched part of the season 1 region 1 first disc the other day, and it definitely had no subtitles with it.
