Not sure if this were best here or in the tech section.

I occasionally get discs with some sync problems between picture and sound, usually only for a little while so I ignore it, not really knowing the cause but assuming the disc rather than my equipment.

But we've suddenly noticed quite a high incidence of sync problems... and all have been on Network DVDs. First a couple of Danger Man Episodes, the first disc, or at least the first two episodes of the Stanley Baxter Picture show, and really bad, almost the entire Making of Return Of The Saint Documentary.

I've tried a different player with no change, but will take them to a friends over the weekend and try them on a whole different system.

Has anyone encountered sync problems particularly on Network DVD, or those in particular. I've always thought that they were rather well thought of technically.

Any thoughts or advice?
