Re: Anime Bargains

These is the newer Hellsing, yeah? I've been thinking about checking that out.

Thanks again to Aionic for posting all these!

One of my favourite shows is amongst them - Full Metal Panic! I may upgrade my Fumoffus at this price, but the original series still works out too expensive for all 7 disks. Another 26 ep series stretched out too thin. Bah!

The artwork is from the original rather than the remake and the release dates are from 2003. I don't think you'll find the newer versions at this price...don't think they've all been released anyway.

I've been looking forward to Ultimate Hellsing for some time now. I'm sure it'll compliment the original excellent tv series.

I've editted your posts as we no longer allow the discussion of cashback schemes on the site. See below.

Did I leave the 'Q' parts?

I know already about the cashback schemes; that's why I went over all my links and added the HMV affiliate link to each of them when I posted. I simply forgot (again) to remove the parts when copying and pasting, mainly due to being knackered.

yep . I don't think there's a forum out there that's not benefiting from this thread so I can understand you being knackered.

Re: Anime Bargains

My Madlax 2-6 order arrived today in one huge box. All sealed, the only minor issue being two of the cases being slightly (as in not something you'd really notice) damaged with 2 small pieces of the case inside. My only real complaint is my order invoice stating the value of my orders being 0.00...

Really annoyed no-one on the UK anime forum I visit shared this until it was nearly over...very annoying when people have posted after getting 1-7 of both series in the clearance sale.

Yeah, I got mine today as well, delivered by Citylink. I also got Gun Crazy vol. 1 and Conduct Zero since they were only a quid each.

You're not missing much in Angelic Layer at any rate. I bought the complete series boxset for about £15 from DVD Pacific ages ago, and it bored me to tears to be honest.

Even if Angelic Layer sucked, getting the complete Vol.1-7 of a R2 anime series for £13.99 per series would've given a nice feeling when anime is as over-priced as it is over 'ere.

I'm more annoyed about needing to get the start and end of Madlax. At the current pricing, it would cost like £16 (£5 on Vol.1 and £11 on Vol.7) to complete the series, more than 2-6 cost together... Enough to drive you mad when you know you could've got them for £2 if others had shared.
