I wondered why find-dvd pricewatch had let me down on this one, but checking back on my saved copies, I found it was a February listing which I had failed to update before its 6 months expiry date.
If anyone ordered this before the price was fixed (now shows as £22.99 - in shopping cart), I suggest you keep a close eye on progress. I ordered Ryan's Daughter SE for £4.99 on 12 July, just before their price went up to £13.99. Showed in my account as awaiting stock from suppliers. I sent 2 emails asking for an update, and both got an identical standard reply, saying still awaiting stock from suppliers. Finally, I emailed them saying they were still advertising it on their site as available within 24 hours and suggesting the real reason for the delay was the price increase. I then got another email on 20 August, saying "As stated on the HMV web site, campaign items are available in limited quantities, and subject to availability. I regret to inform you that one of the items you have ordered has now sold out, and we are unable to supply the item below: Ryan's Daughter". I wonder whether, if I hadn't pressed them on it, I would simply have got an automatic cancellation after 4 months? (BTW, now ordered from Bensonsworld for £6.49.)
