I must be in the minority as this series hasnt been a patch on the last 2 :? The series 'finale' just looked like a rehash of the Dalek invasion, as much as I like John Simm his master was too comedic and not menacing enough, irritating Captain Jack overacting again! Martha Jones' family havent been developed enough thru this series for me to care if they live or die, Id hoped after the Rose era we had seen the last of the companions family storylines as they bore me...if you have the ability to travel thru space and time anywhere in the universe go somewhere not just bloody London! I loved the Eccleston series, I liked the second but this one has been a flop for me
RTD has said he will be doing 1 more series and then stop, I hope the next series is better than the last one or I can see it going out with a whimper rather than a bang. Its not because Tennant is a bad Dr, hes good, just let down by bad writing and lazy scripts that look like they are running out of steam trying to keep both Dr who and Torchwood going. the first series of Torchwood was poor, I dont see it betting any better in the second series
As far as the Titanic storyline goes hasnt that been done before on Dr who? more than once if I recall....it will be interesting to see if the Christman special contradicts earlier episodes
