i just got round to seeing it on my planner and wow - i thought Tennant was doing the 3 specials next year and this years Xmas special.
if it is a shock new doctor, then i think James Nesbitt is pretty much perfect for the role.
although i do think it would be nice if he changed into a black actor for the role, just for a change - in which case Adrian Lester from Hustle would do well.

It was a brilliant ep, I really enjoyed it and am really looking forward to next week`s ep. If he does regen back into himself it`s a bit of a cop out but it was mentioned in one of the Tom Baker eps that a timelord can choose how he looks when he regenerates so he could claim that he`s a new doctor but liked how he looked so kept the appearance.

David Tennant has been seen filming the specials but there are suggestions that these could be flashbacks, still if that's the case at least we haven't seen the end of him yet.

I am so happy, I've really taken to David Tennant so I'm glad he didn't leave. Brilliant finale, a bit sad at the end but he hardly ever gets a happy ending does he?

the trailer for the special is cool, love the cybermen.
and i think i saw david morrisey in the trailer, so isnt the new doctor then.
and why all the hate for jimmy nesbitt? ive only seen him in a few things though like cold feet and playing the field, but i thought he was a good actor, and i think after jekyll, and the way he looked in that he would be a fair doctor.
but i guess we wont find out until 2010 now.

I've not really seen Nesbitt in anything but I can't see why he couldn't be the new Doctor...about ten years in the future because David Tennant can't leave before then
