Well, I enjoyed the Christmas Special :-)

Definitely the highlight of yesterdays TV schedules for me. Great fun and a real relief from the doom and gloom of the now traditional soap opera offerings that now dominate the Christmas Day schedules.

The previews to the new series and to the forthcoming return of Torchwood were pretty good too. Anyone else spot Davros in there ?

It would appear that a lot of other people at least watched the programme. According to the overnight ratings posted by the BBC, the Good Doctor was the second most watched programme on Christmas Day with 13.8m viewers. Beaten only by Eastenders with 13.9m. For the record, it would appear that ITV got well and truly trounced

I was dreading this xmas special, but it wasn't anywherenear as bad as I expected, which is almost a thubs up ;) Probably partly because I thought he was meetin Tate again in this one. I'm not sure I can think bad enough of the upcoming series with her in for it to be better than I expected when I watch it :/ I'll probably still watch it anyway as there's little else on tv and my PVR needs a job, so expect me moaning in future ;) I'll be like the people who write in to points of view complaining in explicit detail about the disgusting hour long program about sex that they just had to sit through all of so they could write down all the points to complain about

Sounds a lot like my reason for continuing to watch the remake of Battlestar Gallactica. It is without doubt, the biggest pile of cack I have ever watched...but I still watch it anyway. Sad really

I actually managed to see some of the Katherine Tate Christmas show and I think I now understand why she is so interested in getting a regular acting job. Comedy clearly is not her forte, so she is aiming to establish a fall-back for when her own series get axed.

That wasn't Davros, that was Commander Staal, a Sontaran.

Played by Mike The Cool Person. I kid you not.
