I've just watched the first three episodes of Season 8 over the last couple of nights. Such a relief to see some real CSI episodes after the glossy photo magazine that is CSI: Miami
Last seasons rather weak finale was rounded off well, even if it was a bit strange that Sara would wander away from the car into the desert when she knew the team would come looking for her. Separating Sara and Gil has allowed them to introduce a new female character who unfortunately looks like a CSI: Miami wannabe. Rather too good looking for this show
The stories so far have been quite good, though episode three did get a bit weird and disjointed. I suspect there may be some kind of follow up in the next episode. Overall, very watchable.
BTW, they manage to sneak a divorce in for one of the cast...but blink and you'll miss it.
