DVD Player Problems
Hi there,
I've got a bit of a problem. Well I have a Yamaha DVX S200 Cinema Station, and the DVD Player DVRS200 machine seems to have gone Hal 9000 on me. I put in a DVD and it seemed to take forever to load and then it pixelated which followed in crackling sound. It's as if the disc is unreadable. I tried many different discs including my trusty laser cleaner disc and even that was unreadable. When you put that in, it skips very rapidly. Everything you put in either shows distorted images and the sound track keeps going faster and faster and crackles throughout. I'm guessing this means the laser part of the drive needs repairing? I checked the usual troubleshooting guide but that didn't help at all. Has anyone experienced anything similar in the past? Any help or advice would be most appreciated.
