Much better introduction to a new companion than 'Rose' in season 1. Thoroughly enjoyed it and, after watching the final series of clips at the end of Dr Who Confidential over on BBC3, definitely looking forward to the rest of the series. Er...with one possible exception. I am definitely not looking forward to the soap opera segments featuring the new companion's family
They will be on a par with the 'Wesley Crusher' episodes of Star Trek TNG...unless they systematically kill them all off one at a time over the series starting with the blonde bimbo
It will be interesting to find out the ratings for this one.
