Sound too good to be true? Well, there are a couple of annoyances. The navigation can be a touch annoying at times, and it is mains-powered only (no battery). But here’s the best part: You can install Ubuntu LINUX on this little beauty, giving you access to a huge number of applications such as Google Chrome web browser. Using Ubuntu Linux, you can also do some pretty cool stuff like watch BBC TV.

Not a bad price for a 2CD set. A collection of reasonable rock tunes, mixed with some really bad ones. But hey, it’s £1.95 – a major bargain as far as I’m concerned!
Well, that’s a bit of a fib. Not EVERYTHING is a fiver @ Play. But everything’s a fiver HERE. And some good deals to be had, not only on DVD’s but on a whole range of stuff. Definitely worth a look.

Surely nobody can have failed to notice the current campaign to keep the X-Factor off the top spot this Christmas. The alternative is “Killing in the name of….” by Rage Against The Machine. Now, it’s not for me to decide the rights and wrongs of this debate, but if you want to support one or the other, you can download RATM for just £0.79 at Amazon. The “Explicit” version is also available for just £0.29! And you can get Joe for just £0.29!
RATM – Killing in the name of £0.79 at Amazon – Explicit Version £0.29
Joe McElderry – The Climb £0.29
NOTE: It has been suggested that Amazon downloads and/or items costing less than £0.40 do not count towards the UK official chart. This suggestion is false, and Amazon have made the following statement:
“We can confirm that sales of MP3s from Amazon.co.uk, including “The Climb” by Joe McElderry and “Killing in the Name” by Rage Against The Machine, count towards the Official UK Charts.”
And just to finish off, this YouTube video is brilliant (Warning: uses explicit version of the RATM song!):
Music CDs are always a favourite stocking filler – and with that in mind, I thought I’d find the very best prices of the current top 10 music CD’s. The Chart position is based upon the current BBC Radio 1 Chart.
The new albums from Robbie Williams and Westlife are both going to be very popular this Christmas – with prices remaining stubbornly high. However, you can get both of these for just £4.99 each from BangCD.
