Rage against the Machine vs Joe McElderry

Surely nobody can have failed to notice the current campaign to keep the X-Factor off the top spot this Christmas. The alternative is “Killing in the name of….” by Rage Against The Machine. Now, it’s not for me to decide the rights and wrongs of this debate, but if you want to support one or the other, you can download RATM for just £0.79 at Amazon. The “Explicit” version is also available for just £0.29! And you can get Joe for just £0.29!

RATM – Killing in the name of £0.79 at AmazonExplicit Version £0.29

Joe McElderry – The Climb £0.29

NOTE: It has been suggested that Amazon downloads and/or items costing less than £0.40 do not count towards the UK official chart. This suggestion is false, and Amazon have made the following statement:

“We can confirm that sales of MP3s from Amazon.co.uk, including “The Climb” by Joe McElderry and “Killing in the Name” by Rage Against The Machine, count towards the Official UK Charts.”

And just to finish off, this YouTube video is brilliant (Warning: uses explicit version of the RATM song!):
