Monday saw the release of the new HBO phenomenon, True Blood. Set in the small town of Bon Temps, Louisiana, it follows Sookie Stackhouse, a waitress who hides her ability to read minds. Other quirky characters are Bill Compton, a 173-year-old vampire, Sookie’s brother Jason, who can’t seem to stay out of trouble; tough Tara, Sookie’s best friend and a cast of characters who each hide their dark secrets in the shadows of night.
